Join Western’s Leap Day for United Way – February 29, 2024

Thanks to the generosity of students, faculty, staff and retirees, Western has exceeded its fundraising target for this year’s United Way campaign.

That said, the University is taking an unprecedented step in reaching out to our campus community to ask for one more day of support.

The United Way Elgin-Middlesex campaign needs some extra help during these exceptionally difficult times.

On February 29 teams, faculties and departments across campus will engage in fun activities during “Leap Day for United Way” to raise some additional funds in support of our Campaign. 

Please consider making a $1 donation at eateries on campus and/or visit our donation portal to make a donation or increase an existing donation.

Western has a history of rallying when people need us the most. We’re hopeful that as a campus community we can once more be ‘United’ in helping our region with a little extra boost that it so desperately needs.
