Warm chili and great music helped kick off Western's 2025/26 United Way Campaign

Thank you too all those in the university community who came out to support Western's United Way campaign kickoff event. Special thank you to the University Students' Council for supporting our use of the event space, Hospitality Services for the delicious food, and to Awwab, a student in Western's Don Wright Faculty of Music for providing a great acoustic set during the lunchtime event.

Western will kick off its 2025/26 United Way Campaign with a chili lunch on Renaissance Square (in front of Weldon Library).


Gather up your colleagues and join us!

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 — 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m.

Renaissance Square (in front of Weldon Library)

If it's raining we will move inside to the Weldon Community Room (Weldon Library)

$10 will get you a bowl of chili, a fresh roll and a soft drink.

Enjoy music presented by a local musician.
